At Parkline Place, Hammond Studio designed a floor of speculative suites inspired by Sydney’s iconic parks
Located directly above the award-winning Gadigal Metro station, Hammond Studio designed and delivered a floor of speculative suites for Investa at Parkline Place.
Each speculative suite drew on the character of Parkline Place’s neighboring landmarks and iconic parks – one evoking the refined, formal qualities of the Royal Botanic Gardens, another referencing Town Hall and Town Hall Square, and a third taking cues from both the QVB and Tumbalong Park. We brought these concepts to life as attractive, market-ready workplaces for future tenants.
The first tenancy was taken by Foster + Partners for their new Sydney studio; in the building they designed. Their tenancy’s construction was prioritised in the programme, which meant that MPA had to expertly manage the live building site of the other three tenancies outside of Foster + Partners’s working office.
Finishes were selected to offer a richly textural and sophisticated counterpart to the building’s existing material palette. Each unique scheme was a curated mix of finishes and furniture that was high in quality, while being conscious of budget.
“We always love working with Hammond Studio. Over the years we have built a strong and trusting relationship by successfully delivering outstanding projects together. The design of the Parkline Place lobby and spec suites is a perfect example of our synergy, showcasing exceptional creativity and functionality.” – Paul Clark, Account Director, MPA”
